How is EEOICPA coverage different from regular health insurance?

What is EEOICPA

While the program looks very much like health insurance, it is dramatically different. EEOICPA covers expenses for travel related to your illness, home modifications, if necessary, and even in-home nursing services such as those provided by Caring Nurses in Nevada. Those services can be on a periodic basis up to 24/7 care when necessary.

Benefits you receive once you qualify for a White Card:

  • No co-pays
  • No deductibles for the illnesses which are listed on your card
  • All medical services and testing are covered
  • All medication related to your injury or illness is covered

Your regular medical insurance will continue to cover those conditions that are not covered by your White Card.
